In John 6 when many of Jesus’ disciples were turning away from him, he turned to the twelve and asked, “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Peter responded, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.” In much the same way, I can think of no better way to spend my life than by serving Christ. Through my experiences as a missionary, serving in college ministry, and studying in seminary and in a doctoral program, God has given me a love for the Scriptures, a passion for teaching others and a commitment to relationships. These are the things that give me the passion and the drive to serve young adults for Christ’s sake. To whom else would I go?

Someone once told me, Real life is messy. Well, I agree
and I love it!
But even more, I love how God is in all of it. He is the Lord of everything,
from the first sip of my morning coffee to the broken hearts I see Him win
over to Himself. I guess I would have to say that is what I am most passionate
about. Hah, people and coffee. All people really, but especially people who
have not tasted the love of Christ. I think I would like to have a cup of
coffee with them
